Family: My husband, Jeff, and I met at a Bible Study for singles in southern Connecticut. We were married in April, 1973 at the Kensington (Connecticut) Baptist Church and moved to Clifton Park, NY after our honeymoon. We have been blessed with three children: Jon, a sculptor in Rhode Island; Eric, a facilitator for on-line banking training, Bank of America, in Rhode Island; and Rachel, a stay-at-home Mom living with her husband, Jonathan, and their two daughters, in the Boston area. Each attended (or graduated) Bethel College, following a family tradition. |

How long have you been at Faith? Jeff and I joined Faith Baptist in 1973. Our three children call Faith their home church. I joined the staff as part-time Director of Children's Ministries in November, 2007 following two years of retirement.
What's your personal background? My childhood years were spent in rural Wisconsin, the youngest of three children. Both of my older brothers became Pastors and had a significant influence in my seeking God's path for my life. I graduated from Bethel College (now Bethel University) in St. Paul, Minnesota, with a B.A in social work. This path led me to social work positions in St. Paul, Mn., New Britain, Ct. and following the birth of our three children, in the NY Capital District.
Hobbies: Spending time with family, especially our grandchildren, is one of the great joys of my life. I also love to bake and read. |
