Family: I am the youngest of three kids, my brother Josh is 29 and my sister Tammy is 28. My brother resides in Pottstown, Pa, while my sister lives in Orlando, Fl with her husband. My parents, Kevin and Sandra Bender have been married for over 32 years and enjoy every day of day of it.
How long have you been at Faith? I started serving at Faith Baptist Church in June 2008 and I am excited to see what the Lord has in store.

What's your personal background? I was born in State College, Pennsylvania, which is the town that holds good ol' Pennsylvania State University (Go Big Blue!). I went to State College High School and graduated in 2004 and then immediately attended Philadelphia Biblical University and received my Bachelors in Bible with an emphasis in Youth Ministries. Now I am attending Mid-America Baptist Theological Seminary right off of Curry Road, in hopes to obtain a Masters of Divinty. This program is a 3-year program which entails 96-credits of Doctrine and
Theology, counseling, and apologetics. I am excited to see how the Lord is going to use the next couple of years!
Hobbies: I love to run. Ask anyone. I truly enjoy races of all distances, but I greatly enjoy ultra-marathons and triathlons. I love the outdoors and every sport that gets me outside. Besides running and working out, I enjoy spending time with people, whether that be going to games, going out to eat, working out, watching movies, or even just chillin', is a great past time of mine - a hobby. |
