The following list of questions will be updated as new questions arise and as the building process unfolds.

Where will the new building go? What part of the existing building will change or be torn down?

The existing building was built in several stages. The area between the gymnasium and the original part of the building will be torn down (up to where the glass door is located in the hallway outside Pastor Brad's office). The new building will occupy that space, but reach further out toward both the parking lot and the playground area. A new entrance will be located on the Bradt Road side of the building, where there will also be a lift with accessibility to the other levels. The new building will contain primarily a wider entrance area and hallway and classrooms and nurseries. The offices of the church staff have been relocated downstairs during the first phase of construction. Renovation will be made to the narthex, the sanctuary, the Fireside Room and the location of the current infant nursery.

When will the building be built? How will the construction affect ongoing programs at the church?

See the Approximate Construction Schedule on the left. Note that it is approximate and subject to change. Please pray for this process and watch for more details and announcements as the construction continues. If you need to plan events for your ministry, be in contact with church staff regarding the construction schedule. We currently anticipate the "grand opening" of the new building to take place in November 2008.

Starting July 28th the infant and toddler nurseries will be closed from July 28 through August 2, and reopen August 3rd for services.

The old office building and hallway will be closed on starting July 28th to all traffic. Demolition will begin on that part of the building during the week of August 4th.

Please use the North Gym Entrance (near the garage, where the new sidewalk is located) for all Gym functions, and the front entrance near the bell tower for all Sanctuary functions. Enter the offices and Youth area through the main building or through the green door on the front entrance side of the Office/Youth building (the oldest part of the building).

In mid-September, the nursery and the bathrooms adjacent to them will close. During this time, please use rest room in the hallway past the sanctuary entrance (near the welcome center) or those in the gym, and the nurseries will be relocated as well. Watch for more information.

During demolition, power will be switched to tempoarary power in the gym. Gas will be turned off to all buildings. There will be no gas stove and no hot water in the gym. We are working on temporary gas, please stay tuned. There will be no heat in any part of the building till mid-September, except the new Offices and the Youth area, which have a separate heating system.
